【Gamakuchi】Kinran Nishijin Weave Glasses bag— Murasaki-Ryōgyoku

Dimensions: 19cm (L) × 6cm (H) × 3.5cm (D)
Material: Japanese Kinran Nishijin-Weave Brocade
Made/Designed in: Taiwan

Each Gamakuchi piece is entirely handcrafted by artisans — slow-stitched, carefully finished, like the irreplaceable moments that fill each passing day. Echoing the Japanese ichigo ichie spirit, every encounter is unique and precious.

The Murasaki-Ryōgyoku features Kyoto Nishijin’s exquisite Kinran brocade, woven in a refined diamond motif with threads of deep violet and shimmering gold. Elegant, subtle, and timeless, the fabric reveals delicate shifts of light and shade, carrying centuries of artisanal tradition within its weave.

Perfect for holding eyeglasses, sunglasses, pens, or makeup brushes — a small, meaningful detail in your everyday life.

About Kinran Weaving
Kinran, a luxurious brocade classically woven with gold threads, traces its roots to China’s Song Dynasty. Introduced to Japan during the Tenshō era (1573–1592), it became a cherished art form in Kyoto’s Nishijin district. Historically favored by tea masters, samurai, and nobility, Kinran remains one of the most esteemed traditional textiles in Japan.

Kyoto Nai Gamakuchi reinterprets this time-honored technique into modern accessories, carrying warmth and elegance through handcrafted details in everyday moments.
