金襴織物介紹
金襴為金箔系織物的總稱，以金線為素材所編織的布料被稱為金地金襴，
在中國則被稱為"織金"，而取代金線使用銀線的織物則被稱為銀襴。
金襴的產製年代可追溯至中國的宋代，在日本則是於天正年間（1573～1592）由明朝傳入後，才正式成為日本國產化的編織技法，並以京都的西陣織為其中的代表。
金襴為豪華、華麗的織物種類，位居名物裂中最為尊貴的位置，為茶人、武士、貴族階層所愛用。
